Privacy First
By default, we strive to have a “privacy first” policy, by not offering comments on our posts or choosing not to integrate third-party content (embedded content, iframes, etc.).
We use MATOMO, an open-source solution recommended by the CNIL and GDPR compliant. Audience statistics are recorded without cookies. All data is anonymized. Logs are automatically deleted after 730 days or 24 months. The solution is self-hosted with our host in France, without data being shared with third parties. To ensure the greatest protection for your data, we have followed the CNIL’s recommendations regarding Matomo.
This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and retain your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We are committed to protecting your privacy and processing data transparently and securely.

Automatically Collected Data
We may collect technical data when you browse our website:
- IP address
- browser and device type
- visited pages and session duration
- approximate location
These data are used for security purposes, statistical analysis, and to improve our services.
Tools and Services Used
Matomo (Analytics)
We use Matomo, a self-hosted analytics platform, configured in accordance with CNIL (French Data Authority) guidelines and exempt from requiring user consent:
- IP addresses are anonymized
- no advertising cookies are used
- no data is shared or merged with third parties
Matomo is configured to respect the “Do Not Track” signal from your browser. If enabled, no data will be collected, not even anonymously.
Forms (Contact, Quote)
When you submit a form on our site, we collect:
- the information you provide (name, email, message, etc.)
- a technical trace including your IP address, timestamp, and browser type
This trace is used for security purposes, fraud prevention, and communication traceability. It is retained for up to three years, after which it is automatically deleted.
Submitted form data is never used for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
Self-Hosted Security Tools
We operate our own security tools (in partnership with a provider based in France) to protect the site against spam, brute-force attacks, and other malicious behavior.
These tools may log your IP address for detection and blocking purposes. If an IP is flagged for an attack, it may be stored indefinitely for permanent blocking. These data are never repurposed.
Cloudflare Turnstile
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to verify human interaction with forms and sensitive actions. It may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser details, and session behavior. These are used exclusively for security purposes and are not used for advertising or profiling.

Google AdSense
We use Google AdSense to serve advertisements. This service may place cookies and collect certain data (IP address, browsing behavior) to provide personalized or non-personalized ads, depending on your consent.
A consent banner is displayed on your first visit to allow you to manage your advertising preferences. You may change your settings at any time.
